10 Rules for a Happy Day
TODAY I WILL NOT STRIKE BACK.-
If someone is rude, if someone is impatient, if someone is
TODAY I WILL BLESS MY "ENEMY"
If I come across someone who treats me harshly or unfairly, I will quickly
ask God to bless that individual. I understand trhe "ememy" could be
a family member, neighbor, co-worker or stranger.
TODAY I WILL BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT SAY:
I will carefully choose and guard my words, being certain that I do not spread
gossip, slander and rumors.
TODAY I WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE:
I will find ways to help share the burden of another person.
TODAY I WILL DO SOMETHING NICE FOR SOMEONE, BUT SECRETLY:
I will reach out and bless the life of another person, but I will do it
anomynously.
TODAY I WILL TREAT OTHERS THE WAY I WISH TO BE TREATED:
I will practice the Golden Rule - "Do unto others as I would have them do
unto me" - with everyone I encounter.
TODAY I WILL FORGIVE:
I will forgive any hurts or injuries that come my way.
TODAY I WILL RAISE THE SPIRITS OF SOMEONE WHO IS DISCOURAGED:
I will give my smile, my words, and my expressions of support, knowing they
can make a difference to someone.
TODAY I WILL NURTURE MY BODY AND MY SOUL:
I will eat wisely, exercise, and thank God for my body and its health. But I will also eat wisely and bountifully from God's spiritual food, and I will exercise my faith in prayer and in action.
TODAY I WILL REMEMBER WHO I AM AND TO WHOM I BELONG:
I will remember that I am a child of the living God, and that it is the Lord
whom I serve.
I Thessalonians 5:8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
