Christmas Happenings

Well, the time has come once again, when every child will struggle to sleep. And practically every adult will not be able to get enough. I love this time of year in spite of all the headaches and late nights. There is something almost magical about looking at the twinkling lights and decorations. Then there are all those wonderful aromas that come wafting through every room of the house, and make your stomach growl in anticipation. And last, but certainly not least, there are all those beautifully wrapped presents nestled under and around the Christmas tree. What is it about all this that makes a smile come to nearly every face? Why do we love this celebration so much? And what about the Christmas blues that come to almost every person afterwards?

The sermon today is intended to help answer these questions and to present a Biblical application to it all.

Merry Christmas to all,      Robert

End of the Year Singing & Fellowship: Sunday evening, December 31, we will have our monthly singing and fellowship meal. Bring your favorite games. After services we will eat and play, then around 11: 00 pm we will sing and pray. All activities will end at 11:55pm so that we can welcome in the new year together. Weather permitting, there will be a small fireworks display. Don't miss out on this annual family event.
