Drug Abuse

What is drug abuse?

The family medicine cabinets the greatest abuser.
Chain smoking for a nicotine high.
Alcoholic beverages to the drinker.
Youthful glue sniffers
Smoking marijuana.
Hard-core addict shooting heroin etc.
Any use of any chemical agent or substances to retreat from stress.
The prescribed tranquilizer "Valium" plus others, is perhaps abused by more than a few physicians."

Do Drugs affect our spirituality?

Since abuse of drugs are unlawful, then we are in violation of the laws of the land.

As Christians we are to abstain from all appearance of evil:

As parents we must at all times be aware of the influence that we have on our children. If they see us participating unnecessarily within the boundaries of afore mentions items, why should we be alarmed if they participate.

Always remember that our bodies are the temple of God.

A Poem to Remember

Near to the door he paused to stand
as he took his class ring off her hand.

All who were watching did not speak
as a silent tear ran down his cheek.

And through his mind the memories ran
of the moments they walked and ran
in the sand hand and hand.

But now her eyes were so terribly cold
for he would never again have heer to hold.

They watched in silence as he bent near
and whispered the words "I LOVE YOU" in her ear.

He touched her face and started to cry
as he put on his ring and wanted to die.

And justthen the wind began to blow
as they lowered her casket into the snow.

Thi is what happens to man alive
when friends let friends drink and drive.
