 Laura Jenkins\nAuthor of Thought Garden: Growing Healthy Thoughts with the
  Master Gardener\n\nLaura has served as a ministerial counselor at Mt. Jul
 iet Church of Christ since 2010. She graduated from Freed-Hardeman Univers
 ity in 2006 and received her Master of Social Work from the University of 
 Tennessee in 2010. She and her husband Philip have two children\, Lucas (a
 ge 12) and Holley (age 11).\n\nLaura strives to create a safe and acceptin
 g counseling environment that helps promote growth and healing for her cli
 ents. She believes counseling must treat the mind\, body\, and spirit. She
  encourages her clients to discover their strengths while promoting compas
 sion for themselves and others.\n\nIn addition to counseling\, she works w
 ith Mt. Juliet's youth ministry team in shaping and creating programs that
  serve their students. She finds so much joy in watching young people grow
  in their relationship with God and with one another.\n\nLaura has written
  3 books: Thought Garden\, Thought Garden Teen Edition\, and Thought Garde
 n Children's Edition. These books are designed to help people cultivate a 
 though t life that is firmly planted in God's truth.\n
