As a HOUSE<\/span><\/strong>\u2014 it\u2019s made of one material<\/strong>: Hebrews 3:6 \u201cbut Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.\u201d As a PILLAR<\/span> it supports the truth<\/strong>: 1 Peter 3:15 \u201cI write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.\u201d As a FLOCK<\/span><\/strong>\u2014 it is dependent & it is safe<\/strong>: John 10:27-28 \u201c My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.\u201c As a BODY<\/span><\/strong>\u2014 everyone is united<\/strong>: 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 \u201c For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body.\u201d As a FAMILY<\/span><\/strong> it wears His name: Ephesians 3:14-15 \u201c For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.\u201d As a WIFE<\/span><\/strong>\u2014 she is very much loved<\/strong>: Ephesians 5:23-27 \u201c Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.\u201d As a PEARL<\/span><\/strong>\u2014 it is very costly<\/strong>: Matthew 13:46 & Acts 20:28 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.\u201d \u201cTherefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
