Lack of conviction and moral courage prevent many people from doing their duty. It robs them of the satisfaction that comes from carrying out the dictates of their conscience, and may cost them their soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is a tendency today to \u201clook the other way\u201d; a fear of \u201csticking out one\u2019s neck\u201d; of not wanting to become involved in any situation that may cost one time, trouble, or expense. Can a Christian ignore his responsibility to be his brother\u2019s keeper? Can he please the Lord without becoming involved in the welfare of others?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Being a Christian and serving the Lord is not for moral weaklings. It requires strength of character, courage, and a desire to serve, regardless of the cost or risk involved.
