GETTING WHAT YOU NEED OUT OF LIFE<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is a passage in Matthew 6 that deals with not worrying about the necessities of life (verses 25-32). God promises to provide them for us if we follow His plan, which is found in verse 33. Note the verse and what is required of us: \u201cBut seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
OBLIGATION \u2013 SEEK<\/span> \u2013 Webster\u2019s defines seek as \u201cto resort to, to go to\u201d. We must make an industrious, continual effort. This will take our time and resources, but we must be willing to do what it takes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n OBJECT \u2013 KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS<\/span> \u2013 The kingdom of God and His righteousness are all the things pertaining to our relationship with God (our Christianity, the church, worship, evangelism, etc). That is what we must seek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ORDER \u2013 FIRST<\/span> \u2013 These spiritual matters must be placed first in our lives \u2013 first importance, in point of time, in emphasis, and in our affections. Nothing must come before our faithfulness to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n OUTCOME \u2013 ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED TO YOU<\/span> \u2013 God promises that we will never be in want of the necessities of life if we truly trust in Him and are active in His kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n –Bulletin Gold<\/p>\n\n\n\n A RECIPE FOR HAPPINESS<\/p>\n\n\n\n Happiness is something we create in our mind; it\u2019s not something you search for and so seldom find- it\u2019s just waking up and beginning the day by counting blessings and kneeling to pray \u2013 it\u2019s giving up the thoughts that breed discontentment and accepting what comes as \u201cheaven sent.\u201d It\u2019s giving up wishing for things we have not and making the best of whatever we\u2019ve got. It\u2019s knowing that the future is secure for us, And pursuing our tasks without fret or fuss.
