Upcoming

  • Adult Class: “These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me” (Mt 15:8), Jesus exclaimed to the religious people of His day. Every part of our Christianity stems from our heart. From the way we give (2 Cor 9:7), to our obedience to God’s commandments (Ps 119:10) and everything in between. Our attitude reflects our heart. They go together hand in hand. Join us Sunday mornings starting immediately after Ronny completes his class for AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT. Taught by Mark Little. Come study with us as we look at the heart of the matter, which is a matter of the heart.
  • Winter Series: Beginning in December our men will have an opportunity to teach a class lesson on Sunday morning. It’s an opportunity for us to hear lessons from our men & an opportunity for our men to grow. If you’re interested, please sign the list in the foyer.

Sunday Evening Sermon Series

Wednesday Night Bible Study

  • Adult Class: The subject of our lessons for the quarter beginning in September is “WOW! Moments in the Life of Jesus.”  Obviously, there are a lot of WOW! moments…His virgin birth…His walking on water…His resurrection from the tomb…and so many more!  No doubt, we have studied all these WOW! moments repeatedly for years in our classes and in our worship services.  Yet, because they are so familiar, I fear that it is easy for us to view these astounding events as ordinary and mundane. Therefore, the purpose of our lessons will be to restore some of the WOW! in these truly astounding events.  If we can do that, perhaps our own faith can be strengthened, and it will help us to enthusiastically share those remarkable moments with those having little and no faith, and perhaps produce a WOW! reaction in them.  If the world is to be converted to Christ, I am convinced that the WOW! must be restored to NT Christianity. Beginning Wednesdays in September taught by Danny Dodson.
  • Men’s Class: A Men’s Class begins in September in the back. This class will be led by David Metcalf. We will be discussing John Eldredge’s Wild at Heart and use both video and book.
