Bible Class / Sermon Series

Sunday Morning Bible Classes

  • Adult Class: “WOW! Moments in the Life of Jesus”
Obviously, there are a lot of WOW! moments…His virgin birth…His walking on water…His resurrection from the tomb…and so many more! No doubt, we have studied all these WOW! moments repeatedly for years in our classes and in our worship services. Yet, because they are so familiar, I fear that it is easy for us to view these astounding events as ordinary and mundane. Therefore, the purpose of our lessons will be to restore some of the WOW! in these truly astounding events. If we can do that, perhaps our own faith can be strengthened, and it will help us to enthusiastically share those remarkable moments with those having little and no faith and perhaps produce a WOW! reaction in them. If the world is to be converted to Christ, I am convinced that the WOW! must be restored to NT Christianity. Danny Dodson will be teaching. This is a continuation of the 2024 class he taught.
  • Youth Classes: Various classes by age group available; Children’s Bible Hour meets during the summer months (June through August).

Upcoming

  • Adult Class: “Encouragement from Hebrews” led by Mark Little, Pulpit Minister beginning June 7.

  • Adult Class: “Proverbs: The Way of Wisdom”
Knowledge is so important in our world and in our society. Concerns for a good education are natural and justified. The question is: is worldly knowledge the most important knowledge? Our Nation has the highest percentage of educated citizens of any prior generation, yet violence, dishonesty, sexual- ly immorality and broken homes are the norm. What’s the answer? The book of Proverbs provides the answer. Instruction is given about how to live life in the best way (God’s way). Everyone will be provided with a notebook and an outline that goes with each lesson. We will also have finger foods (bring whatever you want) & there will be card signing. Come join the fun & fellowship! This is a continuation of the class from the winter and spring. Led by Mark Little, Pulpit Minister.
